   Excellent point, Shama.

   And great example of how to take the passion and turn it into profits. It’s all about providing value that the society (market) will appreciate and pay for.

   I had a thought when you were insisting that PASSION does not equal PROFIT and saying there are lots of artists out there not selling anything. PROFIT does not equal SUCCESS. Maybe making that art is enough for the starving artist or the joy of giving it away or seeing the joy in someone when they see it. Im no expert but I thought it was an interesting idea that PROFIT may not be MONEY for everyone.

   Hi Chris-

   Agreed. very good observation. Profit doesn’t equate success, but I think profit is important in business. : ) If you are an artist and don’t care for profit-then it isn’t so much of a business. = )

   Great point and I agree 100%. And a person with a passion with no obvious market, could create a market if he had the resources and know how to do that. There are so many things being sold today that the market for which was created out of thin air.
